Earl was born April 4, 1929 in Lynchburg, the son of the late Richard M. Mayberry and Rachel Hendricks Mayberry. He retired from Montague-Betts Company and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflect.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Tammy M. Driskill and her husband, Wade; and one granddaughter, Emily Nicole Driskill of Lynchburg; two nieces, Noni Lee Lawhorn and her husband, Dudley and Linda Mayberry.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Fort Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Eugene Larkin.
