William Francis Langan, 76, beloved husband of Lorrie (Norman)Langan, passed away on Tuesday (29 April 2008), at his home. Born in Hartford, son of the late Thomas and Gladys (Martin) Langan, he had lived in Windsor for 30 years, moving to Windsor Locks two years ago. William was a manufacturing coordinator for 30 years at Spencer Turbine in Windsor, retiring in 1981. He was a U S Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War, and a member of the Kiwanis Club in Windsor.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven and his wife Kathleen of West Hartford; three daughters, Darlene and her husband Steven Souza of Winsted, Cathy Grusendorf of Brenham, TX, and Laura and her husband Raymond Suitter of Windsor; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Thomas Langan; Jr. and his wife Irene of Florida, Patrick and his wife Rose of East Windsor, Danniel Langan of Enfield, and Paul Langan of Florida; two sisters Dorothy Valvo of Enfield, and Darline Falcetti of Rhode Island; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Michael Langan; and a sister, Beverly Langan.
