Brad was a contractor in the family business, Majic Pools. He was born December 22, 1967, in El Dorado, the son of Thomas E. & Janie S. Bean Barlett. Brad attended Shawnee Heights High School and Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. He loved to water ski and operate radio controlled cars. Brad was a member of Joyful Harvest Neuva Vida Church where he was active in the churchs food ministry. He also volunteered at the Salvation Army. He is survived by: a daughter and a son; his parents; a brother; and his grandparents. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Fairlawn Church of the Nazarene. Cremation will follow the services. Brad will lie in state after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 3013-19 East 9th, Kansas City, MO 64124 or in care of the funeral home.
