John D. Patterson, 81, of El Jobean, Florida formerly of Butchertown returned to his Heavenly Father Tuesday, September 24, 2013.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Harry and Henrietta Hall Patterson and brothers, Harry, Jr., Freddy and Howard Patterson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Dunn Patterson; sisters, Frances Gravile (Bill) and Margaret Dunn (Billy); stepsons, Charles and Steve Rosenbarger; grandchildren, Robin Rosenbarger, Kelly Stein, Chasity Moore and Brian Rosenbarger and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday with burial in Resthaven Cemetery
