Ella died around 1905 shortly after the birth of her last child--a boy. Some time after her funeral and burial at Myrick Cemetery, her husband Ike and their two young daughters and infant son moved west to Oregon with Ike's parents, Charles and Naomi (Powell) Abercrombie, and some other Abercrombie relatives. They settled in Corvallis, Benton Co., Oregon.
My great-grandmother once told me she was sitting on her grandfather Almond Hartley's shoulder at her Aunt Ella's burial in Myrick Cemetery so that was how I knew Ella was buried there, even though there is no gravestone for her and there is no newspaper obituary that could be found (at least none that I could find).
