Burke Peterson she was privileged to be an assistant temple matron with Sister Brookie Peterson from 1985 to 1987.
She cherished her callings in the LDS Church, serving as her ward Relief Society president twice, a counselor in her stake Relief Society presidency, a teacher, a temple worker and always showing compassion and love in her service to others. She was a loving and caring friend to all.

Together they enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life full of love for one another. Her husband preceded her in death six months earlier on November 26, 1993. Both passed away of cancer.
