He was born Jan. 14, 1897, in Menomonie. He married Garda Score Feb. 14, 1920, in Menomonie and was employed as a baker for several years and as an engineer at the University of Wisconsin-Stout for 23 years prior to retirement in 1962.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Vernon, Eau Claire; a brother, Albert,Menomonie; a sister, Mrs. Lyle Hight, Boyceville; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Arthur Vorhes officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
