George F. Baker is buried at the Addison Baker plot at Riverside Cemetery, Denver, CO. This plot also has Charlotte and Addison BAKER who where first cousins who married. George is Charlotte's brother. I found a small hand written paper in my Grandfather's trunk, Elton C. Baker, that was once owned by Nathan Baker in Denver, CO. and then his daughter, Lily Moyn Baker who married Edward Sebben. George would be Nathan's uncle. It said

Geo. Franklin Baker Nov. 13-1822. This paper was laying next to the funeral card of Charlotte and a picture of Virginia. Note that the Shattuck book also gives Nov 13 as his birth, but his obituary gave Nov 17th.

Taken at Foreman 1537 Larimer St. Denver, Colo. This doesn't look like Lily's hand writting, but the collection went to my Grandfather (Elton C. Baker) after she died, so still working on who wrote this.

The final act in the tragedy of last Wednesday night, when the boiler explosion at the West Denver power house of the Denver Tramway company sent three souls into eternity unwarned, was performed yesterday-what all that was mortal of the unfortunates was consigned to the grave.

The funeral of George Franklin Baker, the aged man who died from the shock of the boiler explosion on Thursday morning last, took place from I. N. Rogers' undertaking rooms on Champa Street. It was a sorrowful little gathering that assembled to pay the last tribute of respect to the memory of a good man. His daughter and son, with whom he has made his home since his residence in Denver, were bowed down with uncontrollable grief, and as Rev. Thomas Uzzell spoke of the virtues of the deceased and comforted as best he could the sorrowing relatives, a deep solemnity pervaded the room. At the conclusion of the exercises, which were short and simple, the body was conveyed to Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Baker was born in Pompey, N. Y., November 17, 1822 and at the time of his death was in his 73rd year. He was a man of fine attainments and ever ready to lend his aid to any good work.

Picture found in belongings of Lily MOYN BAKER 1872 - 1960 who married Edward Wilbert SEBBEN. These came down to Elton C. Baker, my grandfather. Lily was his aunt.
There was no George Franklin Baker listed in the 1895 Denver directory. No George F., No G.F. There were some George's. I looked at their address's and found no other Bakers living at the same address. I also looked in 1894 also. Note from Denver volunteer researcher.
