**Ron's 94 year old Mother**

Lillian (Kessler) Sizick
(April 10, 1919 - September 22, 2013)

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare. Age 94 years. The daughter of the late William and Bessie (Chaloux) Kelly, Lillian was born April 10, 1919 in Bay City, Michigan. She married Roman W. Kessler on April 22, 1939. They were married for 32 years when he predeceased her on March 7, 1972. Lillian enjoyed her next 32 years with John G. Sizick, whom she married on May 5, 1979. He predeceased her August 26, 2011. Lillian was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served as secretary for many years until her retirement and was a member of the St. Joseph Women's Club. Lillian was a member of the Bridgeport Chapter of the American Businesswomen's Association and Knights of Columbus Council #4232 Auxiliary. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with Roman and enjoyed bowling and golfing with John. Lillian was an avid Detroit Tiger fan.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Ronald (Elizabeth) Kessler, Center Line; Larry Kessler, Saginaw; Ted (Susan) Kessler, Ionia; the Sizick daughters, Johanna Sizick; Janette (Raymond) Kostick; her grandchildren, David Kessler; Dan (Dorene) Kessler and their children, Deven and Darian; Justin (Melissa) Kessler and their daughter, Mirielle; Kara (James) Rowley; Lauren (Tony) Couls; Julia Kessler; four Kostick grandsons, Steven, David , Raymond and Robert and their families; three Sizick grandchildren, Brian, Chris and Lynne and their families; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends at Carrollton Village Apartments.

Lillian was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Carol Ann Kessler, and by three brothers and two sisters, Loren, Leroy, and Lewis Kelly, Lenore Cote and Lela Zaleski.

Lillian's family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Covenant Healthcare for the loving care they provided.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M., Cap., will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church.

**The third picture was the last picture we took of Mom on August 4, 2013, not looking at all like 94 years old! She became ill on August 19, 2013, entered the hospital on August 20, 2013, and never recovered. She is finally at peace.**
