He was a friend to everyone who knew him. In many ways he was the town dog. Dodson, Texas never knew a better pooch!
He spent his days walking around our little town bringing joy to all of our neighbors. One of the most commonly heard phrases around town was undoubtedly "Hi Napoleon!"
He went to the Dodson Post Office everyday to visit Ramona. Tri County Co-Op was also one of his favorite spots, because he knew he could get a few scratches from farmers coming in to have a cup of coffee.
He was also devoted attendee of the Dodson Church of the Nazarene. He seldom missed a Sunday service, although he usually heard them while sleeping on the front steps.
Polie was my baby and my best friend! He will be remembered and loved by all of us! Dodson, Texas (pop. 109) will never be the same!
Rest in Peace, Polie!
