Longtime Tuolumne County resident Glenn Eric "Eric" Sanders died July 2 at a Sonora hospital. He was 40.
Mr. Sanders was a construction su-perintendent for Mother Lode Mobile Home Service. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, hunting, going to garage sales and playing hacky sack. He loved spending time with his children.
He is survived by parents, Dennis and Patti Ford of Jamestown, and Glenn and Lenora Sanders of Corning, Tehama County; his former wife, Paula Sanders; children, Deric Sanders, Tijouna Sanders, Dustin Sanders and Tabitha Sanders; sisters and brothers-in-laws Kimberly and Aaron McElvney, Amber Foster and Heather and Votch Levi; his brother, Paul Saffell; numerous aunts and uncles including Nanny McClure, and Randy and Wanda Wilson; nieces and nephews Jeremy Sanders, Shannon McElvney, Avery Foster, Brandon Saffell and Kayla Saffell; grandmothers Delores Corcoran of Jamestown and Valada Sanders of Louisiana, and Anne Wilson; and his companion, Robin Green.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Christian Heights Church, 13711 Joshua Way, Sonora.
