Milda S. Andresen, 88, of Austin, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Sacred Heart Care Center.
She was born Aug. 3, 1913, in Austin, to Hans and Nina (Martinsdatter) Roseth.
On June 13, 1939, she married Carl Andresen in Northwood, Iowa. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Marian and Virgil Finley, Plainview; Sharon Andresen-Briones, Taylor, Texas; Margaret and Delmar Leeper, Austin; Cecelia and Richard Enright, Austin; Carla and Curt Haack, Coon Rapids; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Kyong Andresen, Bremerton, Wash.; Gary and Louise Andresen, Austin; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Agnes; brothers, Monroe, Martin, Oscar and Eivend; sisters, Anna, Hilda, Olga, Lillian and Marian; grandson, Ralph Andresen.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, and one hour before the service at the funeral home on Monday.
Service: 11 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home with Pastor Gordon Larson officiating. Casket bearers will be Gary Nelson, Wayne Nelson, Tom Tomlinson, Mike Enright, Josh Haack, Joseph Haack, Sam Andresen and Rick Andresen.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
