lst Delaware Company E Delaware Infantry.

Wounded Jan.1863 returned to duty.
Wounded May 3 1863
November 1863 transfered to "invalid corps" where he was still able to participate in the war by working at the hospital.
His brother Charles was a casulty of the Civil War, being wounded at the Battle of the Wilderness.
