Lewis M. Petry, 76, of Marmet died Marcy 19, 1998, at home after a long illness.
He was retired from Appalachian Coal Co. and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving: wife, Iva Lee Mitchell Petry; grandson, whom he raised, Terry A. Lilly II at home; daughter, Myra Rodeheaver of Charleston; sons, Lewis McClure Petry of Barberton, Ohio, Ronald Lee Petry of Campbells Creek; stepsons, Gary Lilly of Tampa, Fla., Randall Lilley of Chesapeake, Terry A. Lilly of Marmet, Greg Lilly of Chatsworth, Ga.; sister, Sadie Tucker of Ohley; 13 additional grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Rick McCracken officiating.
Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery, Marmet.
