She was born Oct. 20, 1903, at Clifton, Tenn., daughter of David Daniel and Amanda A. Turnbow McCann.
She had served as postmistress for the town of Anniston, Mo. and later moved to St. Louis. She continued to work in the Civil Service Administration at office in St. Louis, Denver and Philadelphia until her retirement in 1962.
She is survived by a sister, Nora Price of Bonne Terre. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral will be held at McMikle Funeral Home. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
