IN MEMORY OF:

Cause of Death: knife wound across the stomach. Died young. Fight broke out at a barn raising. He ran to his wife Elizabeth Davis Crews (Grandma Peg Leg) as he was running to her he was slice across the stomach. Died later from knife wound.

He died (February 1, 1880) at Mack Crews house in Charlton County,Georgia,USA. Per his wife Elizabeth Davis Crews on September 10, 1907.

Family is saying he is possibly buried in this cemetery. Location unknown. (unmarked/lost grave.).

These men are all sons of Roger Crews Sr. born in SC in 1789 and an early member of Pigeon Creek Baptist Church where he was buried about 1835.
