Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem. Burial was in the Moravian Cemetery in West Salem. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Abendroth was born January 21, 1915, in Effingham, the daughter of Emory and Winnie (Tucker) Lee. She married Dean Abendroth on June 12, 1934. He preceded her in death August 14, 1985.
Sister Dean was a member of the Free Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Noble Abendroth, of Slaughters, Kentucky and Dallas Abendroth, of Jinja, Uganda; one daughter, Leah May Caldwell, of Covington, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Abendroth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Bertha Broyles.
