Charles "Charlie" Thomas Abraham, 87, was born into eternal life on September 1, 2013. Born in Athens, Ohio on August 7, 1926, he was the son of Joseph and Philomena Abraham.

His mother was killed in an automobitle accident in 1939, at the age of 38, while enroute to the funeral of a nephew in Michigan. His father passed in 1965.

A graduate of Athens High School (1944), he was a member of the football, basketball, baseball and volleyball teams, military company, band, orchestra and a district music contest winner. He and other membes of the football team who were also in the band, performed during game half-times. He was in the U.S. Army (WWII) and after military service was a member of the Ohio University football team. Before leaving Athens, he was co-owner with his wife of the Milliview Inn and was co-owner in family businesses; Angelo's Pizza, Dexters Sub-Station, Studio 38 and other nightclubs and restaurants in Athens. In Columbus, he was owner of The Mall Cafe for the past 40 years, in partnership with his brothers in nightclubs and The Sheraton Hotel in Columbus and The Racquet Club and Founainbleau Hotels in Miami Beach, Florida.

He is survived by
his daughters, Swanee Christman of Gahanna and Roseanna (Jay) Aydelotte of Maryland;
grandchildren, Cathy (Todd) McDonald and children Austin and Jason; Darren (Cara) Christman and children Kendra and Eric, Kristen (Brian) Fitzgerald and children Cody and Brandon, Michelle (Mitchell) Marriner;
his beloved dog, "Fluffy";
his brothers, Gen, James M. Abraham (Ret) (Irene) of Gahanna, Mitchell (Ellen) of Powell, Raymond of Athens;
sister-in-law, Dolores of Powell;
several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by
his beloved wife, Mary (2008) after 55 years of marriage;
sister, Julia Pate;
nephew, Edward Pate;
brothers, William and Paul;
son-in-law, Donald Chirstman;
sister-in-law Meryl.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd in Gahanna. Interment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
