William Hugh "Pete" Adams, age 76, of Bristol, VA passed away on August 29, 2013 at the Cambridge House.
He was born in Bristol a son to the late John Henry and Mamie Worley Adams and was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area.
Pete was a farmer and attended Antioch Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 5 pm in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Davis officiating.
Committal services will be on Sunday at 2 pm at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bobby Leonard, Ralph Jackson, Brad Leonard, David Childress, Travis Childress, and Jeremiah Mullinex.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3-4:45 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church at 1016 Old Airport Road, Bristol, VA. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
