Don lady served as a MSGT in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, Korea, Japan, & Vietnam. He was with the Disaster Preparedness Division. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service & taught at Tri-Cities Christian School.
Don's mother, Emma Grace Cain Lady, died when he was a baby & he was raised by his Grandmother Kate Lane Cain & Aunts Bertha Cain Ford & Lola Pearl Cain Rowland.
Don & 1st wife Lieselotte "Charlotte" Schneider Lady married in 1952. They had 1 daughter Brigitte. His wife Charlotte died in 1981 after 29 years of marriage.
Don was survived by daughter Brigitte & her husband Bobby Godsey, Grandson Jeremiah Sanders & his wife Shannon, Great-granddaughters Lola & Chloe.
He is also survived by 2nd wife Betty Jo & her daughter Kelly Jo Howard.
