Erica Koehler Allen, 36, died August 23, 2013 in Hutchinson County, Texas.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor, and Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Erica was born April 13, 1977 in Amarillo. She attended Pampa schools, graduating from Pampa High School in 1995. She married Blake Bullock Allen on February 14, 1999 in Pampa. Erica was the director of Frank Phillips Cosmetology. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. In her spare time, Erica liked to crochet and read. She was a passionate and dedicated educator, but most of all, she will be remembered for her heart of gold and her generosity. Erica was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Blake Allen, and grandparents, Henry and Helen Koehler, Carl and Ruby Allen, W. H. Locke, Jr., and Paul Hill.

Survivors include her husband, Blake Bullock Allen, her son, Evan Allen, her daughter, Julia Allen, her parents, Raymond and Peggy Koehler of Pampa, two sisters, Kolleen Yarbrough and husband Philip of Madison, Alabama, and Nikki Brenneman and husband Quintin of Amarillo, mother-in-law, Shauna Hill of Fruit Heights, Utah, father-in-law, Kenneth Allen and wife Pam of Pampa, brother-in-law, Van Bullock Allen of Portland, Oregon, and three nieces, Koehler Yarbrough of Pampa, Elyse Yarbrough of Madison, Alabama, and Geneta Brenneman of Amarillo.
