Mrs. Sarah Blanton died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Harry Melter, Morton, Wash. on March 13. Burial took place on March 17 in Winlock, Wash.
The youngest daughter of the late Alice Wallace and Michael Melter was born on a farm on Wall Street Road in the town of Caledonia. She moved to Washington for employment and while there she met and married William Blanton. He preceded her in death.
Survivors are her sister-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Portage.
