Mrs. Sallie Pink Whittington, aged 52 years, died at 11 o'clock Sunday morning at the family residence, 411 Polk Ave. Deceased had been an invalid for three years and for the past ten months was confined to her bed.

The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the home. Deceased was a member of the Baptist church, but due to the absence of Rev. Nutt from the city, the services will be conducted by Dr. E. W. Soloman.

She is survived by her husband, H. N. Whittington, 8 children and a number of brothers and sisters.
