Singer/Songwriter. Blaze Foley (real name Michael David Fuller)has long been regarded by members of the Austin (TX) music community as an accomplished songwriter and performer. He is remembered for composing and recording songs such as; "If I Could Only Fly" and "Clay Pigeons". Several well known artists, including Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and John Prine, have recorded songs written by him. He died of a gunshot wound in February of 1989.
