William Fredrickson
William "Bill" John Fredrickson, 56, of Durand, died peacefully Tuesday may 9, 2000 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, with his wife and children by his side.
He was born March 20, 1944 in Durand to Russell and Marie Black Fredrickson. Bill married Jean Maire LaPean May 22, 1965 in Arkansaw. Bill took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He was a true family man who was loved and honored y all that were blessed to know him. He retired from Durand Cooperatives in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Jean of Durand; one son, Joseph Fredrickson of Apple Valley, Minnesota; twin daughters, Kim (Peter) Rankin of Madison, and Kay (Jason) Early of Oregon, WI; two grandson, Grey William Rankin, and Nathan Wayne Early; step-father, Julius Brantner of Durand; five brothers, James Fredrickson of Superior, Bernard (Mary) Fredrickson of Menomonie, Richard (Marlene) Fredrickson of Arcadia, Timothy (Jennifer) Brantner of Mondovi, Jeffery (Maureen) Brantner of Mason City, Iowa; two sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Baker of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, Patricia (Jerry) Frion of Maiden Rock; many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces; great-nephews; in-laws, Alfred and Irene LaPean of Arkansaw; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday May 12, 2000 at Community of Christ Church, Arkansaw. Pastor Dan Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Durand. Arrangements by Rhiel Funeral Home, Durand.
