Evelyn, born at home in the mountains of West Virginia, 6th of 9 children to Eugene & Amma Craft, she was a devoted wife, mother and Navy Wife. She supported my Dad as they both spent 23 years serving our country and other 15 years as he worked at Seminole Electric supervising the warehouse. She graduated from 8th grade. There wasn't any school buses in those days so she never had a opportunity to go to the high school in Clendenin just 20 miles away.

Evelyn started working at age 15 in Clendenin at Robinson's Grocery before she left home at age 19 to live with her brother in Elk Grove Village Illinois where she met and married Lonnie D Holt while he was between enlistments in the Navy. She loved camping, playing Scrabble, walking/hiking the outdoors, traveling, reading, bowling, and her grandchildren Lj, Josh and Beka.

I'll always miss and love you Mom, till we meet again in heaven.
