Ann had an upbringing in several Baptist Church`s in Pensacola. As a member of Circle Baptist she was saved at 12 years old and her father walked her down the isle for the ceremony. She sang in several choirs and enjoyed many activities in the Warrington Baptist and then Myrtle Grove Baptist Churches. She loved music and had a good singing voice. She went to all Pensacola schools and attended Pensacola Junior College and graduated from there.
She married Charles Biggs on March 29, 1967 and they had one child together Richard "Ricky" Biggs.
Ann loved her family especially her granddaughter(Brianna) and all kinds of animals. She had many pets over the years mostly dogs and cats. Her favorite show on cable T.V. was Animal Planet and it was always on that channel at her house if she had anything to do with it.
She worked several jobs, in her life, and finally stayed with Eckerd`s Drugs which became CVS as a pharmacy assistant for many years. Retiring from there she settled at home with a serious diabetic condition that she had lived with since her late 20`s. She had heart problems as well and had a by-pass operation several years before this. These terrible heath issues finally reduced her kidney function so much she needed to be on a machine. She was forced on dialysis for a while but later died in hospice, by her own choice, surrounded by her family.
Holding her hand and talking to her while unconscious, the last hours of her life, just the two of us, was one of the saddest days of my life.
She is buried in Lottie, Baldwin County, Alabama, in her husbands family plot.
