Simone "Simi" Teresa Brusco, passed Monday, January 1, 2007 in Rancho Mirage, CA at the age of 27. She was born June 21, 1979 in Longview, WA, to Bo and Terri Brusco.
She graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1997, moved to Scottsdale where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Arizona State University in 2002, and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, then resided in Scottsdale, AZ and Rancho Mirage, CA. She was a vivacious, intelligent, fun loving, energetic individual, had a deep spirituality, was artistic, had a wonderful creative side, loved fashion and design, enjoyed writing, fitness and music, worked in the fashion retail and hospitality industries, loved her family and her beloved dog Panda.
Surviving are her parents, Bo and Terri (Wellenbrock-Mahoney) Brusco at home in Longview; a brother, David, and wife, Belinda Brusco of Vancouver, WA; a sister, Rachele, and husband, Scott Stewart of Redmond, OR; grandfather, L.D. Mahoney of Cathlamet, WA; grandmother, Cleo Brusco of Longview; special friend, Joe Bromley of Longview; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Heidi Brusco on Dec. 1, 2002; her grandmother, Billie Mahoney in 2001; her grandfather, Roland E. Brusco, Sr. in 2004 and her uncle, David Wellenbrock in 2000.
Services will be at 11 am Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at Longview Community Church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Cathlamet.
