Daniel known as Danny and Dan was the son of Kary(K.C.) Cleveland Rogers(6/26/1922-1997)and Mary Sanders Rogers(1928-). His grandparents on his father`s side where Earnest Cleveland Rogers(1/7/1890-1/11/1940) and Vassie Dubose(8/25/1889-9/06/1955). Danny`s siblings are David Rogers, Linda Rogers Dolimite, and Elaine Branch.
Danny grew up in Pensacola and graduated from Pensacola High School. He loved to surf, play music, and work with photography. He won several photographic awards at the County Fair and elsewhere. He was quite a character and had many interests and friends.
He played guitar in several local bands and played gigs in many small local venues in the Pensacola area and other communities.
Danny died unexpectedly while on another visit to Costa Rica, Central America. He liked visiting the area and had some local friends there. He was cremated and his ashes shipped back to Pensacola. At his funeral, on the beach, the ashes where spread by his two children, Sarah and Josh. After walking out to the second sandbar in the Gulf of Mexico they took turns giving him back to the earth. He was back in the water at the beach that he always loved.
