Rites Are Held Monday For Andrew Lund
Andrew L. Lund, 82, of Uehling, died Dec. 3 at the Oakland Hospital
where he had been a patient for two months. He had been ill for 5
years. Mr. Lund was born at Uehling on August 11, 1882, the son of
Lars and Carrie Lund. He spent his entire life on the farm
homesteaded by his parents. On Nov. 3, 1903 he married Anna
Herrmann, and she preceded him in death April 19, 1918. He is
survived by a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service was
held on Monday at the Congregational Church in Uehling, with the
Rev. Ross Louthan in charge. Interment was in the Baptist Cemetery
south of Uehling with Wollmer & Warne in charge. Music was by Ivar
Anderson and Charles Landholm, with Mrs. Windsor Uehling as
organist. Pallbearers were Harvey and Edward Realph, John, Irving,
Walter and Carol Larson.
