Rita Kruse was born July 23, 1897 at Pierz, Minnesota. Daughter of John Christian Kruse & Theresa Lieser. On July 4, 1908 she came with her parents to Park Rapids, MN. On may 11, 1920 she was married to Ralph  E. Wall. They had two sons: Robert and Patrick. Before her death she suffered from tuberculosis for 5 years. Two years spent at the Lake Julia Sanatarium north of Bemidji, MN and one year at Fair Oakes Sanitarium in Wadena brought no cure.
