Fortunato B. Pittella, 69, died at 6 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005, at his residence, York Twp. He was the husband of the late Betsy Lou (Martin) Pittella. Born January 16, 1936, in Reggio Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Biagio and Stevina Pittella. Mr. Pittella was a Hair Stylist and Cosmetologist all of his life. After leaving the Boston area, he opened a salon in York. Mr. Pittella owned and operated Mr. Coiffure Italiana for almost 40 years. Surviving are a daughter, Kristine C. Criswell of York; a son, David Pittella of Liberty Lake, WA; a grandson, Christopher Pittella of Liberty Lake, WA; a brother, Stefano Pittella of Italy; and a sister, Santina Pittella of Italy.
