A retired employee of the Milton Hershey school
Helen M. Adams, 77, of R.D. 1, McVeytown, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, April 25,1992, at her home.
Born Aug. 7, 1914, in Mount Union, she was a daughter of the late William P. and Dessie A. (Bard) Faust. She was married to Harold B. Adams on May 10,1934. Mr. Adams died July 9, 1968.
Surviving are four sons: William H. Adams, Lancaster; James R. Adams, Palmyra; Samuel B. Adams, Mechanicsburg; and David F. Adams, Westland, Mich.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Also surviving are two sisters: Thelma Jones of Marion Center and Edna Kurtz, Midland, Texas.
Preceding her in death were a brother, Richard Faust, and a sister, Dessie Rubin.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church. She was also a member, since 1949, of the Mount Union Chapter 280, Order of Eastern Star, and the state grange.
In 1974, she retired from the Milton S. Hershcy School, Hershey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Woody Leigey officiating. Interment will be in Mount Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, this evening (Monday), from 7-9 p.m., and at the church on Tuesday, for one hour prior to the service.
An Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 this evening.
