Mary E. Henry, 63, of Connersville, passed away Monday morning, August 5, 2013, at Reid Hospital, Richmond, Indiana, where she had been a patient for ten days.
One of six children, she was born November 10, 1949 in Connersville, the daughter of Eugene and Ruth Rowekamp VanSickle. She attended St. Gabriel School and was a 1968 graduate of Connersville High School.
On June 28, 1969, she was married at St. Gabriel Church to John Henry of Connersville; together, they reared three children: Brian, Tom and Beth.
She was a devoted and loving homemaker; she enjoyed baking, crocheting and spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren – she was also a member of St. Gabriel Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, John Henry of Connersville, three children, Brian C. Henry and his wife Lori of the State of Washington, Tom M. Henry and his wife Shannon of Hagerstown, Indiana and Beth A. Hall of Connersville, seven grandchildren, Brandon Ralston of Rushville, Indiana, Jeanette and Sierra Henry, both of Connersville, Jordan and Jaycee Henry, both of Dublin, Indiana, Emma Harris of Hagerstown and Caleb Hall of Connersville, two great-grandchildren, a sister and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, August 9, 2013, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley J. Herber, officiating; burial will be in Dale Cemetery – family and friends may call from 4 until 8 PM Thursday with the Rosary to be recited at 3:30 PM; they may also visit anytime online at millermosterrobbins.com.
