Sarah Elizabeth Esposito Sapiro, 80, of North Haven, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Maurice L. Sapiro. Sarah was born in Shelton on June 28, 1932; daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy Sheehy Esposito; she obtained her Bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's College, her Masters degree and 6th year from Weslyan University. Sarah loved literature and poetry, was a patron of the arts, enjoyed going to the theater and also wrote poetry. Mother of John Sapiro of North Haven and the late Guy Sapiro. Brother of Frederick Esposito of Richmond, VA and John Esposito of Fernandina Beach, FL.
