George N. "Nick" Daniels passed away peacefully July 26, 2013, at Covenant Hospice at Bay Medical Center, surrounded by his two loving daughters.

Mr. Daniels was born November 2, 1921, in Sunny South, Alabama. He moved to Panama City, Florida in 1961. Mr. Daniels proudly served in the US Navy in WWII. He retired after being self-employed in the construction industry. Mr. Daniels was a loyal member of Cove Baptist Church.

Everybody that knew Nick, knew that he was a good, Christian man, that he had a great sense of humor, that he was an avid Alabama football fan and that he truly loved his family.

Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Geraldine "Jerry" Daniels, and a son-in-law, Mike David. He is survived by his daughters, Pat Middlebrooks and Jane David, his grandchildren, Michael David and Amy Harbeson (Brad), and his great grandchildren, Asher and Delaney Harbeson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Mr. Daniels' name to Covenant Hospice at Bay Medical Center. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Ashok Wadhera and the staff at Covenant Hospice at Bay Medical Center.
