Miss Coleman of Rockingham was born the daughter of Danny and Brenda Shaw Coleman Cook. She attended Community Baptist Church and was a former student at West Montgomery High School. She is survived by one daughter: Jessica Coleman; parents: Brenda Shaw Coleman Cook and Danny Coleman; one sister: Allison Cook; maternal grandparents, John & Wynell Shaw and maternal grandmother, Reba Coleman. Ashley died at age 18 at New Hanover Regional Hospital.
