Beloved husand of Ruth Josephine Fisher Rhodes. His parents were Solomon Rhodes and Cora "Florence" Jarman Rhodes his parents married on May 15, 1907. He had 8 brothers and sisters, Nellie Isabelle (b. 4/12/08); Effie Nacy (b.5/4/10); Mabry Moses (b. 10/31/12); James Solomon (b.11/19/14); Cora Florence (b. 5/12/17); Elsie Bertha (b. 8/13/22); Hazel Matilda (b. 1/11/25); and Daisy Lee Miller (b.1/20/28). His mother Florence died on August 26, 1930 and is buried with his father Solomon (who died Oct 20, 1973), in the "Old Lee-King Cemetery". He is survived by his children: Alice Ruth Rhodes Watts; Phillip Richard Rhodes; Paul David Rhodes; Roy Lee Rhodes and wife Marie Rouse Rhodes; John Timothy "Timmy" Rhodes; and several grandchildren and great grand children.
