Mr. Peterson was born near Hosmer Dec. 31, 1893. He was graduated from Northern State College and served as superintendent in Stratford for nine years and in Frederick for 31 years. He retired in 1953.
Survivors include four sons, Glen, Garretson; Robert, Westminster, Md., Harold, Mandan, N.D.; and Dean, Villa Park, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Grant (Gertrude) Fish, Layton, Utah; and Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Quatier, St. Charles, Minn.; one brother, Charles, Ipswich; and one sister, Mrs. George Loomis, Seattle, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1959, two sons and one grandson.
