Willie's father, Thomas, is believed to be the son of Henry "Tal" & Abigail (UNKNOWN) SIZEMORE of South Carolina and Gwinnett County, Georgia. Thomas drew land in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery. He heads a household on the census of Gwinnett County, Georgia (1830), Carroll County, Georgia (1840), and Benton County, Alabama (1850); the name of Benton County was changed in 1852 to Calhoun County, where Thomas heads a household in 1860.
Willie's uncle: William SIZEMORE
Willie's possible aunt: Mary Arnett (SIZEMORE) CRUCE
I had put this memorial at Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Quitman, LA, where her husband has a marked grave; I supposed she was unmarked there. However, on 22 FEB 2020, Roy Todd Harvey Contributor #48961623 reports: Buried in Preston Bend Cemetery in Pottsboro, Texas, Grayson Co. Proof from official Texas Death Certificate. Also, middle initial "E." stands for Elizabeth.
