Obit: Funeral services were held for Syneth L. Mixon Cochran, 81, of Lucedale, on November 10, 2004, at 10 a.m. from the George County Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed in the Mixon-Cochran Cemetery with Rev. Ben Bohanic and Rev. Bryan West, Jr., officiating the services. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
A native of Benndale, she was a homemaker. A member of the Baptist faith, she died November 8, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor F. Cochran; parents, Print K. and Eula Mixon; two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by a son, Rudolph (Shirley) Cochran; a daughter, Jennie (Billy) Stork; seven grandchildren, Richard D. (Christy) Cochran, Tracy (Lisa) Cochran, Dewayne (Kimberly) Dean, Bradley (Christina) Flynt, Victor K. (Charlotte) Flynt, Bryan West Jr. and Kala Flynt; nine great grandchildren, Kevin Cochran, Tabitha Cochran, Ariel Cochran, Colton Cochran, Hayden Dean, Ethan Dean, Garrett Dean, Taryn Flynt and Anna Claire Flynt; three sisters, Lavaughn Stiener and Tenora Mule and Dezida McNamara; and one brother, K. P. Mixon.
George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
