ABBOTT, Garry Harrison June 14, 1935 - October 31, 2011 Garry passed away in the late afternoon in Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. He was predeceased by his father Lyle Abbott (2003) and mother Anne Abbott (September 14, 2011). He is survived by his brother Brian (Janice), nephew Wade, niece Tami (Roy) Paris and grand nieces Anitra and Elan Paris. Garry was born in and grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. He moved to BC to be closer to family in the late 1950's. Garry was a tireless volunteer for his building strata and the several senior's facilities and community boards he served on in the Maple Ridge and Port Coquitlam areas of BC. He will be fondly remembered by many. No service by request. All those who knew him are welcome, in lieu of flowers, to consider donations to The Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation or the Variety Club of B.C.
