Effie A. Akers is the daughter of the late William Hampton and Sudie Izory Akers. She was the oldest of 3 Children. She married George Samples and had one son Marvin Samples and one daughter Marilyn Samples Rann. She later married Wilbur C. ( Bill) Bateman and after he passed she then married Willliam Chambers. She lost Marilyn in a car crash years before she really never got over it. She passed away after a long Illness.
