Gered M. Armagost, 20, of Sanborn, NY, died Tuesday, September 21, 2004, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

He was born on May 18, 1984, in Lewiston, NY, the son of Gerald and Paula [ Black ] Armagost and was a lifelong resident of Sanborn, NY. He attended the Colonial Village School, the Edward Town Middle School and the Niagara Wheatfield Senior High School, where he was a member of the Class of 2002. Gered was a member of the wrestling team for 10 years, and also a member of the track and cross country teams in high school. He was employed by Big Lots Stores, since graduation and was currently, the manager of the furniture department at the Niagara Falls Store. He was a member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church, Williamsville, NY.

In honor of Gered, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk; and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.

He enjoyed playing basketball, hunting, and fishing with his many friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are four sisters, Tricia [ Eddie ] Lukaszek, of Cheektowaga, NY; Amy Armagost, of Buffalo, NY; Jessica Armagost and Annarose Armagost, both of Sanborn;a niece Megan and a nephew, Isiah; his grandparents Fred and Barbara Armagost, of Middleport, NY; Patricia Black, of Franklinville, NY and several aunts; uncles and cousins. He was the grandson of the late George Black.

The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, SANBORN, 5893 Hoover Road, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM, Thursday, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 AM, with the Rev. Brian Grow, officiating. Burial will be in the Mount View Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.

Should friends desire memorials in Gered's memory may be given to the family.
