Mr. Amella retired from General Motors. He was an usher at St. Joan of Arc Church for 54 years, and was a life member of the VFW Bruce Post. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Providence "Pearl" (nee LoPiccolo); children, Richard and Joyce (James) Aragona; grandchildren, Joseph Aragona, Kathleen-Anna and Marie Amella; siblings, Catherine (Joseph) Asta and Albert Amella Jr.; sisters-in-law, Catherine Watson and Grace Fontanive; and brother-in-law, Vito (Barbara) LoPiccolo.
He was predeceased by his sister, Marie A. (Herb) Legato
