Mrs. Cannon, a native of Greene County, lived most of her adult life in the Black Jack and Hollywood Crossroads community. For the past 6 years, she had made her home with her daughter in the Pactolus community.
Surviving are a son James Thomas Cannon of Nashville; three daughters Deborah C. Speight of the home, Betty C. Roberson of Snow Hill and Lorrie C. Jones of Wallace, a sister Emma Cross Roberson of Grimesland; eight grandchildren; and three great - grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her daughter Deborah Speight, 6691 U.S. 264 East Greenville.
