Mr. Thomas Jefferson Cannon, 66 died Tuesday, April 9, 1996, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services Friday 4 p.m., Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Cannon a native of Pitt County, had resided both in the Black Jack and Hollywood communities. He was self-employed as a blacksmith and farmer, retiring in 1993
Surviving: his wife, Betty Cross Cannon; daughters Deborah Cannon Speight and Betty Cannon Roberson, both of Greenville, and Lorrie Cannon Jones of Wallace; a son James Thomas Cannon of Chocowinity; sisters Verna Cannon Burroughs and Pearlie Louise Strickland both of Greenville and Sarah Jane Barrow of Snow Hill; brother, John Henry Buck of Black Jack; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation Friday 1 - 3 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
