Dorothea M. "Dora" Meze Achey, 83, Lebanon, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at home. She was the wife of Herman A. Achey. Born Dec. 18, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank Meze and Josephine Jernitch Meze. She was the retired owner of Jonestown Ceramics. She also had worked in a sewing factory. She was a co-founder of the Lebanon Campers. She enjoyed knitting and traveling. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons Grady Simmons of Hanover, Michael Simmons, husband of Sally Simmons of Lebanon and Glenn R. Achey, husband of Gaile M. Achey of Lebanon; a brother, Frank Meze of California; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday at Christman's Funeral Home, Lebanon.
