Mrs. Christine C. Morin, age 95, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in the Franklin County Rehab Center.

She was born in St. Albans, July 9, 1918, daughter of the late Edward and Bessie (Bushey) Nichols.

For many years she worked on the wait staff at Brunelle's Restaurant, and later at the Cornerstone Restaurant. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. Her favorite pastimes included camping and casino gambling trips. She was an avid bingo player and was an active bingo worker at the Owl Club Bingo and St. Mary's Bingo. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

July 9, 1946 Christine married John M. Morin.

She is survived by her four children and the spouses Linda and Richard (Buvy) Gamache, Nancy and John Pearo all of Swanton, Arnold and Cathy Morin of Georgia, Donald and Patricia Morin of St. Albans, grandchildren, Tammy Gamache-Deso, Shane, Nate, and Casey Pearo, Debra Morin-Bocash, Scott, Tommy, and Katie Morin, great-grandchildren Jennifer, Jordan, and Jacob Deso, Caleb, Riley, Cayden, Naya, and Zander Pearo, Quinton, Gavin, and Ireland Morin, her furry friends, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers Arnold Nichols and Francis Nichols.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 A.M. in the Brady and Levesque Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home, 86 South Main St., from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral.

Interment will be in the Morin family lot in St. Albans Bay Cemetery.
