Lorna Marie Buxton Pound, 63, of Scottsburg died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in Louisville, Ky.

She was born March 13, 1939, in Blocher, the daughter of Leland and Beulah G. Stark Buxton. She was a retired housekeeper with nursing homes in Indianapolis and Phoenix, Ariz., and she also worked in her family's nursing homes. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenwood.

Surviving are her mother, of Scottsburg; one brother, Donald Buxton of Blocher; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg, with burial in Kimberlin Creek Cemetery in Lexington.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Temple Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.

Lorna Marie Buxton Pound, 63, of Scottsburg died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in Louisville, Ky.
